HealthCare4ChildCare Through DC Health Link:

Affordable health coverage for early childhood education providers and their teams

HealthCare4ChildCare for Employees of Child Development Centers or Homes in the District of Columbia

HealthCare4ChildCare (HC4CC) provides free or low-cost health insurance through DC Health Link for employees of DC’s Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE)-licensed early child development centers and homes.

  • Employees can pay $0 or get a reduction in monthly premiums
  • Employees can choose among multiple health insurance plans
  • Plans available in Silver, Gold, or Platinum levels, based on employer’s choice of reference plan
  • HC4CC trained experts will help employees with enrollment process

Eligibility: Non-DC resident employees’ participation is contingent on their DC-based childcare center or home provider employer’s enrollment in HC4CC.

Note: HC4CC premium reduction is not available for dependents.

Free or lower premiums are guaranteed for 12 months once an employee or employer enrolls.
