Payment Deadlines
You must make your premium payment by the due date indicated on the invoice your insurance company provides. You will NOT be covered or receive an insurance card until you pay. If you pay after your coverage begins, but before your payment is due, you’re still considered covered as of the plan start date.

Renewing Your Coverage
If you already have insurance in 2020 through DC Health Link, you’ll receive a letter in the mail that includes the most up-to-date information we have on your eligibility for health coverage. Read this letter carefully, and call DC Health Link at (855) 532-5465/TTY: 711 if any of the information in the letter needs to be updated.
If you’re happy with your current plan, you don’t need to do anything. We’ll automatically renew you into the same plan for coverage beginning January 1, 2021, if you don’t select a new plan by December 15, 2020. If you’d like to pick a different plan for 2021, login to your account during open enrollment, and choose a new plan.
