Which health plans offered through DC Health Link include abortion coverage and which plans do not?
For 2026 and 2027, all plans available through the Individual & Family marketplace provide abortion coverage.
Most plans available through the Small Business marketplace provide abortion coverage; however, the following plans do NOT for the years indicated.
- The following CareFirst plans do not provide abortion coverage:
- BluePreferred PPO Gold 1300 Ded (2027)
- The following United Healthcare plans do not provide abortion coverage:
- UHC Choice Plus Gold 3000-2 (2027)
Important: In the Small Business marketplace, plan year start dates may not be based on calendar years. The years listed reflect the employer plan year, not when an employee’s coverage begins.
