Yes. The premium you have paid will be prorated, and your plan(s) will refund you the difference if you already paid for that month. If you have not paid for that month, you must pay the pro-rated premium for that month in order to be covered for that period of time. If you are receiving Advance Premium Tax Credits, the amount of your tax credit will also be prorated. Please contact your insurance company directly first to help you determine how much you owe. You will later receive an updated invoice from your health insurer with the prorated amount.
