Do employers still have to offer COBRA to employees and their dependents losing coverage?
Employers are still responsible for offering COBRA or, for smaller employers, state continuation coverage. However, former employees and their family members will have a choice between COBRA/continuation coverage and individual & family coverage available through DC Health Link. Tax credits available to those buying individual & family coverage through DC Health Link may make that coverage more affordable for many families.
