DC Health Link @ How to link small business with incubator services
-
Anacostia Arts Center
1231 Good Hope Rd SE
Debra Curtis, Senior Deputy Director with the DC Health Benefit Exchange Authority, will join the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) and the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) in facilitating a business workshop entitled “How to Link Small Businesses with Incubator services.” Ms. Curtis will also provide an overview of DC Health Link, the ACA, as well as inform and educate attendees about how DC Health Link products and presence can be a proactive part of the solution to greater coverage for small businesses. There will also be an opportunity for a Q & A. Supporting small businesses, most of which operate as nonprofits, has become a staple for many local governments and universities seeking to attract and retain entrepreneurial talent. Incubators become a decisive part of the chain, not only providing office space, but also access to other entrepreneurs and experts willing to dole out business advice and resources.
