DC Health Link @ Annual Open Enrollment Strategic Planning Summit

Each year, DC Health Link hosts the Annual Open Enrollment Strategic Planning Summit with staff, assisters, community leaders and other strategic stakeholders to explore creative strategies and campaigns to employ in reaching, educating, and enrolling the remaining uninsured District residents in high quality, affordable health insurance through DC Health Link. This year’s Summit, “Celebrating a Decade of Progress… Focusing on the Next Decade of Challenges and Opportunities will feature sessions geared toward recapping the progress and lessons learned from past open enrollment periods, identifying challenges and barriers impeding the paths to enrollment, exploring opportunities to address challenges, and charting a strategic road map and course of action to reach and enroll the uninsured during the FY 23 open enrollment period. A mixture of panel sessions, discussion groups and special presentations will keep the day lively and informative. DC Health Link policy and program updates as well as special projects will be shared with participants. The DC Department of Health Care Finance will present information on Medicaid Unwinding, eligibility re- determination and District Direct, the new integrated benefits system which make access to social services more convenience for residents.
