Catching consumers at retail outlets has proven to be ideal for reaching the uninsured with information about the Affordable Care Act and sharing information about the importance of signing up for health coverage before the March 31st deadline. DC Health Link assister organization, East River Family Strengthening Collaborative (ERFSC), has established a partnership with the Giant Supermarket to provide an on-site enrollment/informational center with certified DC Health Link Assisters to assist consumers in their need for health insurance and understanding the health plan options.
