DC Health Link will advertise and have representatives at the Gallery Place Movie Theatre to reach theater goers as they enter and leave the theatre to view the story of the 1965 Selma-to-Montgomery March, the first major motion picture about Dr. Martin Luther King, one of the pivotal leaders of the American civil rights movement and one of the few leadership roles available to black men, who stated, “Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane.” SELMA features the riveting stories of John Lewis, Diane Nash, C.T. Vivian, James Bevel, Hosea Williams, and many others civil rights leaders and stars Oprah Winfrey, David Oyelowo ("The Butler"), Cuba Gooding Jr., and an all-star cast.
