During the week of January 18 – 24, 2015, DC Health Link in conjunction with community organizations will place emphasis on the importance of African Americans, especially men, enrolling in quality affordable health insurance through DC Health Link. With only 4 weeks to the February 15th deadline to sign up for 2015 coverage, DC Health Link will accelerate its outreach efforts to this population. Multiple events will be planned for this week to educate the African Americans about the benefits of enrolling in health insurance coverage. Community leaders will be briefed on the vitally important role they can play in assisting with reaching out to and enrolling individuals and families in affordable health insurance options through DC Health Link. .
