DC Health Link Black History Month Enrollment Event – “Delivering on the Promise…"

In tribute to and in celebration of Black History Month, DC Health Link will commemorate the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. and reflect on his famous quote, “Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane.” The quote, which rings true today as it did 48 years ago, was given by King in a speech to the Medical Committee for Human Rights, 1966. DC Health Link will host with a special program and conversation about the benefits of the new health law. After the program, DC Health Link certified assisters and licensed health insurance brokers will be available to enroll consumers in affordable health plans that meet their needs and budgets.
