Because District residents have only four days left to sign up for health insurance coverage before the Open Enrollment deadline, DC Health Link is crisscrossing the city this weekend to make sure every resident in high uninsured areas of the District has the opportunity to enroll in quality, affordable health insurance. DC Health Link is holding its signature Enrollment Marathon and partnering with local businesses, city leaders, and civic groups to offer District residents FREE one-on-one, and virtual, enrollment help over the weekend at different locations throughout the District. These additional enrollment opportunities will help residents get covered before the Open Enrollment Period ends at midnight January 31, 2023.
DC Health Link is meeting uninsured residents where they live, play, and pray this weekend to help them sign up for quality affordable health insurance. Venues include barbershops, libraries, movie theaters, and restaurants including live onsite radio broadcasts at Ben’s Chili Bowl, Metro stops, and houses of worship. Plus, DC residents can expect to see DC Health Link enrollment reminder stickers on RedRocks Pizzeria and Ledo's Pizza carry-out and delivery pizza boxes this weekend. (List of events below)
DC Health Link is encouraging all District residents to take advantage of lower premiums in 2023. Thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act, health insurance premiums are as low as $11/month. During Open Enrollment, DC residents can enroll 24 hours a day at DCHealthLink.com/residents.
