
HealthCare4ChildCare Through DC Health Link:
Affordable health coverage for early childhood education providers and their teams
HealthCare4ChildCare:
- Provides free health insurance premiums through DC Health Link for District residents (and their families) who are employees of OSSE licensed child development centers and homes.
- Provides free health insurance premiums or lower premiums through DC Health Link for non-District residents who are employees of OSSE licensed child development centers and homes choosing to participate in HealthCare4ChildCare.
- Helps OSSE licensed child development centers and homes provide affordable group health insurance for their employees through DC Health Link’s Small Business Market (SHOP).
- Free or lower premiums are guaranteed for 12 months once an employee or employer enrolls.

HC4CC Outreach and Engagement Partnership (OEP) Program Grant
The HC4CC Outreach and Engagement Partnership (OEP) Program is a grant-funded project with professional early childhood education associations and community-based organizations that are trusted voices in the early child development community.
HealthCare4ChildCare Townhall Conversation
The HealthCare4ChildCare Town Hall Conversations provided an opportunity for all employees of DC licensed childcare centers and homes to learn more about the newly established HC4CC health insurance benefit program which offers FREE or low-cost health insurance for all employees of OSSE-licensed childcare centers and homes and their families.
During the town hall HealthCare4ChildCare specialists shared information about:
- The valuable benefits of the HealthCare4ChildCare program
- How HealthCare4ChildCare can help employees and their families obtain coverage for basic health care needs
- How to sign up for the program and get personalized enrollment support
Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and get answers.
