For 2022 and 2023, all plans available through the Individual & Family marketplace provide coverage for elective abortions.

Most plans available through the Small Business marketplace provide coverage for elective abortions; however, the following plans do NOT for the years indicated.

• Aetna plans do not provide coverage for elective abortions (2022 and 2023)
• The following CareFirst plans do not provide coverage for elective abortions:
• BluePreferred PPO Gold 1100 90%/70% (2022 and 2023)
• BluePreferred PPO HSA/HRA Silver 2750 80%/60% (2022 and 20223)

Important: In the Small Business marketplace, plan year start dates may not be based on calendar years. The years listed reflect the employer plan year, not when an employee’s coverage begins.
